Now Breezing is a “Now Trending” bot created for Bluesky, established in May 2023. Leveraging the open-source AT Protocol’s “Firehose,” this bot processes the thousands of posts made every minute to identify the top surging words, hashtags, and emojis over the past 10 minutes.

The bot generates a list of the top-10 trending words, each linked to a Bluesky search, and creates a “word cloud” featuring the top 100 words, hashtags, and emojis. This provides an “at a glance” view of the current trends on Bluesky.
